How to use the XML Sitemap Generator
- Paste one absolute URL per line. Include only canonical, indexable pages — no redirects, no noindex pages, no parameter duplicates.
- Set lastmod if you know when each page genuinely changed. An accurate date helps; a bulk today's-date on every URL trains Google to ignore the field.
- Download the file and upload it to your site root as sitemap.xml.
- Reference it in robots.txt and submit it in Search Console, then watch the Pages report for coverage errors.
